Every fancy cut ring at Studded Bay begins as an idea. Because we design, cut, polish and craft everything ourselves, we control each step of the journey, so you receive a one-of-a-kind ring of exceptional quality. Here is how it comes to life.
It all starts with imagination. Our team designs new shapes and colours of lab-grown diamonds, thinking first about what will look stunning on a ring. We create diamonds in yellow, pink, blue, black and more, in shapes such as emerald trapezoid, elongated oval, cushion modified, hexagonal step cut and many others.
Once the design is final, our own cutting and polishing factory turns it into reality. Every diamond is shaped and polished by our skilled craftspeople. We also cut the smaller side diamonds to match your centre diamond, so the whole ring looks perfectly balanced.
With the diamond ready, our designers use CAD (computer-aided design) to create the ring setting that suits it best. We select the style, metal and proportions to show off the shape and colour of your diamond to its full advantage.
After the design is finalized, our in-house jewellers manufacture the ring, set the diamonds by hand and give it a final polish. The finished ring is then ready for you to view and enjoy.
A complete ring takes approximately 35 to 40 days to make. Have a different shape or colour in mind? We will create it for you in about 40 days.
Every diamond is certified by IGI or GIA, including custom creations, which we certify once they are made. This means you always receive a diamond with a trusted, independent grading report.
